As you learn more about the English language and other subjects in Middle School, we want you to make sure that you understand the vocabulary necessary for success..

Many words have meanings specific to content and are used frequently. These are the words that you will learn throughout the next few weeks. Take your time to explore, as a detective would, the words and how they can be used. The best detectives use a team to pull ideas together and then decide what it all means.

Then bring your ideas together in a team to complete a graphic organizer on each one.

Then there are several main projects, which you will chose one, to complete either on your own or with someone. Here you will show that you understand how to correctly use the words by creating sentences or stories using them. Words relate to each other in many ways.
